The game was designed for thrilling cooperative gameplay for up to 4 players. The key to victory on hostile planets is flawless communication, coordinated actions and covering one another. Remember, however, that Helldivers 2 features a constantly active Friendly Fire system – carelessness when throwing grenades or calling in airstrikes can lead to the elimination of members of your own squad, adding a generous dose of dark humour and adrenaline to every encounter.
A rich arsenal of weapons, armour and powerful tactical manoeuvres
Helldivers have access to a powerful and varied arsenal of weapons and armour. Modify your loadout, adapting your combat style to individual preferences and current mission objectives. However, the game's true hallmark is its tactical manoeuvres (Stratagems) – special commands that allow you to call in, among other things, bombing runs, artillery support, sentry turrets, ammunition supplies and powerful heavy equipment.
Diverse enemies and demanding strategic missions
Travel across the galaxy and face gigantic swarms of space bugs (Terminids) and armies of ruthless machines (Automatons). Every mission on hostile planets brings new, dynamically changing challenges – from defending bases and evacuating civilians to destroying nests, eliminating giant bosses and disabling enemy factories. Complete main and side objectives, gathering the resources needed to upgrade your destroyer and unlock new technologies.
