An air of sophistication.

Ultra-slim aluminum frame, matte bottom, and gloss finish nameplate, Air96 has retained the classic elements of the Air design. But don’t be fooled by the simplicity of its look, beneath which we have introduced the super adaptable two-piece foot stand adjustable to three different typing angles, for maximum typing comfort in any environment. The iconic Ionic White color and the electrophoresis coating process that made it possible on the Halo series are also coming to Air96, making it the Air with the most refined and polished look so far.

We don’t mind padding stats, if they mean genuinely improved user experience. Equipped with a not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4000mAh battery that beats competitors by a factor of 2, and comparable to high-profile keyboards, Air96 just keeps going, be it multi-tasking on 4 different Mac/Windows devices, or heavy-duty editing and gaming, on a 2.4 GHz low latency connection.

Native dual-OS support as a process.

As operating systems keep evolving, so does our effort to support them. To enable a more immersive Mac use experience, not only have we made the dedicated ‘Spotlight’, ‘Dictation’ and ‘Do not Disturb’ keys available in the newest MacOS accessible on Air96 after simple configurations, we have also built Mac-only Launchpad/Do not Disturb F6 replacement keycaps for you to choose. We will continue to find more ways, and shortcuts, including building new hardwares, to bring extra values to our users on the software side.

Nothing short of switchcraft.

NuPhy’s close cooperation with Gateron has continued to bear fruits-and flowers, meet Aloe (Linear, 37gf), Daisy (Linear, 48gf) and Wisteria (Tactile, 55gf), a new generation of switches low in profile but set the bars high in pretty much anything else. Not only has the travel been extended to a jaw-dropping 3.2mm, only a few tenths of a mm from what is seen on high profile switches, the smoothness and force feedback both receive significant boosts, thanks to the high precision mold and the upgraded 16.5mm spring, respectively. The widely acclaimed Gateron pre-lubrication is also fine-tuned to complement Air96 acoustically and tactilely. Suffice to say, a revolutionary low-profile typing experience now awaits at your fingertips.

If you want to stick with your old, trusted red, blue, or brown colored friends, there is good news too. The veteran Gateron switches all got upgrades to the 3.2mm travel, high precision mold and enhanced pre-lubing in the new 2.0 version, for better tactile response and smoothness. The looks are also slightly modified to make them even more symbolic: the bottom casing now displays the true color of its PA66 material instead of being painted black.

Each Air96 keyboard is hot-swappable, allowing you to easily replace or upgrade your switches without soldering and to enjoy a different typing experience free of restriction.We also offer six bonus mechanical switches in the package. This enables different typing experiences as well as easy replacement of a damaged switch.
