Hot-Swappable

The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on a PCB, allowing you to install or replace switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

Double-Gasket Design

The Double Gasket Design is a new innovative structure in the industry. In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the acoustic resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals.

An epic core inside the keyboard

The powerful ARM Cortex-M4 (MCU) chip with 256 K Flash memory gives developers more flexibility. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box in 2.4 GHz and wired mode (90 Hz in Bluetooth mode), making the delay barely noticeable even in demanding games.

Switching layouts between macOS and Windows

Designed with Mac users in mind while maintaining compatibility with Windows devices, the Keychron Q3 Max keyboard comes with a system switch and an additional set of custom keycaps for Windows and macOS. You can now save two different layouts on your keyboard, one for each system.

Programmable knob

South-Facing RGB

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlighting for the person typing on the keyboard with premium non-translucent PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB LED is also interference-free when users install alternative OEM or Cherry profile keycaps on the keyboard.

Gateron Jupiter Switch

The exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch (fully assembled version only) features a 3-pin design, is pre-lubricated to Gateron's reliable quality standard, and has a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. The unique LED diffuser design ensures high RGB backlight permeability and a softer backlight effect.

PCB Stabilizers

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier to make changes and updates. Precise manufacturing makes the stabilizers more stable and less wobbly. Typing on large keys (space bar, shift, enter, backspace) is now more stable and smooth. Keychron Q3 Max also supports screw-in PCB stabilizers from other manufacturers.
