Capture clear sound on the move with our FIFINE M9 wireless lavalier microphone. Simply clip it on, record, and go — clear vocals, long battery life, stable range, and universal device compatibility will make your vlog or interview sound professional in any conditions.

The best way to achieve excellent sound on camera?

To get the best possible audio quality, you need to be as close to the microphone as possible. Even if you try using a shotgun microphone to work around this issue, best practice may still require using a boom pole to shorten the pickup range for clarity. Not to mention situations where you simply cannot sit still in front of the camera the entire time. Especially when you need to record footage completely on your own, which inevitably means you pay less attention to maintaining a consistent distance from the microphone while speaking.

That is where a wireless lavalier microphone comes in to save the day. Clip it on, move freely, forget it is even there, and still get decent sound. That sums up the purpose of a wireless system, but the devil is in the details—from setup to everyday use—and FIFINE M9 is no exception.

A wireless system is not complete without a charging case

There is nothing extraordinary about “take it out and turn it on” and “put it back and charge it” features. Still, it is good to know that convenient charging always has your back. While you connect the receiver to your phone or camera in seconds, the transmitters automatically pair with it. The setup process is so seamless that you will barely notice the system is battery-powered.

A 1200 mAh “Power Bank” for your system

Since the system runs on batteries, you need to make sure the transmitters and receiver do not run out of power—or at least that the included case with its built-in battery is fully charged. With a 1200 mAh capacity, the case can charge the entire set from empty to full twice. To achieve an average of 6 hours of operation for each transmitter, charging takes around an hour and a half. However, with a charging case that doubles as a dedicated power bank in reserve, you can forget about battery anxiety, even during all-day recording sessions.

Charging status indicators

The user-friendly charging method does not end with the case itself—attention has also been paid to details that inform you about battery status and life. Four LED lights on the front of the case show its charge level, while flashing indicates that charging is in progress. Once you open the case, the battery indicators on top of the receiver and transmitter will also let you know their charging status by flashing green.

Charging while in use

Fully charging the system is not a problem in everyday situations when you do not necessarily need to be on camera all the time. However, if you do not mind extra cables, you can charge the transmitters and receiver directly while recording.

Small size, big possibilities

When you take the transmitter out of the case, before it pairs with the receiver, another light on top—the sync LED—will start flashing blue to warn you that there is no connection.

The matte front panels of the receiver and transmitters, with their modern linear design, match the style of the case, keeping the entire system discreet. A glossy surface might look more striking, but it would not suit the nature of a lavalier microphone, which is meant to capture great sound without drawing attention. However, the design is not without a sense of humor—on each transmitter, you will find a smiling face that gives it a Lego-like appearance when the windscreen is not attached.

Windscreen and sibilance reducer, plus belt clip and camera mount

Yes! Simply attach the included “dead cat” windscreen, and a special mechanism on the microphone ensures it stays so securely in place that there is no chance of it accidentally falling off. It does more than just reduce wind noise! If you find the recorded voice too harsh, the windscreen can also help filter out some higher frequencies to gently smooth the sound.

One component that cannot be missing from a lavalier microphone is a belt clip—in this model, all three clips also function as cold shoe mounts for cameras.

Simplified design, no compromise in performance

The receiver is just as easy to operate—all functions are available via physical buttons, allowing intuitive “blind” control. The screen serves only as a status display, but it gives you confidence that your settings are correct by clearly showing mono or stereo mode, power status, synchronization, and the volume level of each microphone.

Unrivaled compatibility—choose your equipment

Thanks to the 3.5 mm jack output on the receiver, you can connect it to a camera or phone using the included adapter, allowing you to record audio directly with the video without needing to synchronize it afterward. To fit as many devices as possible and save you from searching for the right adapters, the package includes a comprehensive accessory set.

The set includes a TRS cable for connecting equipment with a dedicated microphone jack (cameras, PCs), a TRRS cable for devices with a combined microphone/headphone jack (laptops, phones with a 3.5 mm port), and a USB Type-C cable that supports most modern phones equipped only with a USB port. For iPhones with a Lightning connector, a headphone adapter will be required for connection.

All three cables feature a flexible coiled section and an L-shaped plug, preventing noise caused by cable tension, especially when using a large camera.

Reliable signal penetration—record your way

Apart from live events, other applications generally do not require extremely long range, but rather strong signal penetration. Since vlogs and workouts often take place in busy environments, wireless signal stability is essential. Even if you accidentally turn your back to the camera or phone, it will not cause the audio to suddenly cut out due to the signal being blocked by your body.

When it comes to obstacles in wireless transmission, a concrete wall is not as significant a barrier as the human body. This means signal dropouts will rarely be an issue when using the system indoors, even if you go up to the second floor while a video conference is still running on a computer located on the ground floor.
