| Plant care | There is no limit to the number of tulsi seedlings per pod. Just let them thrive! If the stems are about to touch the lamp, cut them back to avoid burning them. Tulsi likes being cut, and doing so will increase its yield! You can start trimming your plants approximately 1 month after planting. You can also remove single leaves occasionally. Trimming your plant will help the pod last longer and delay flowering. Tulsi is an annual plant and it doesn't last forever. If it's been over twelve weeks and the plant looks aged, it's time to replace the pod. Tulsi aka "holy basil" is great for drying and can last up to a year in a sealed jar. |
