At 22, one of our co-founders Amadej was an aspiring, energetic, and enthusiastic UX designer who was living that agency life. Long hours, pressure from clients as well as his co-workers, and the constant need to on all the time often meant he was the last person leaving the office and the first person to be there the next morning. One day, after finishing a project, Amadej felt a pain in his wrist, which he just shrug off, unfortunately, the pain didn’t stop, it advanced onto twitching and tingling in his fingers. Finally, he had enough. Being a person who lives for innovation, he decided to take matters into his own hands. CHAPTER 2: INNOVATION He needed a wrist rest, and he needed it quickly. However, none of the ones that were already on the market fit his needs. They were either too hard, too soft, not portable, and not even close to aesthetically pleasing. There was something wrong with every single one of them. Enough was enough. With his two friends, Jan Forsthuber and Primož Erjavec, in 2018 they attended a local startup competition, drafted the first business plan, and created the first 3D-printed prototype, known today as Carpio. At that moment DeltaHub was born, in the year of the threes. Three guys, who finished third and won three hundred euros. CHAPTER 3: DISCOVERY After innovation comes discovery. They say you have to discover how many times you can fail in order to produce something great. DeltaHub was no different. Creating that perfect wrist rest required a lot of trial and error. First came Carpio. It was revolutionary, and the public couldn’t get enough. Then came Carpio 2.0. A completely revamped version of its predecessor. New materials, new colors, and a completely new sensation. Most recently, we decided to conquer the gaming industry, and create the perfect collaboration between gaming and ergonomics. Thus, Carpio G2.0 was born. But we can't stop there. How can we when there is so much left to be discovered. CHAPTER 4: TEAMWORK brings us to today. DeltaHub is becoming a young, inspiring, and passionate group of people who work together to achieve new goals and resolutions. We have moved around the spectrum and managed to combine ergonomics with all sorts of different lifestyles - gaming, office work, programming, etc. What started as a hobby and a quick problem-solving solution became our full-time job. Carpio was just the beginning, DeltaHub goes way beyond that. Join us on this journey in helping improve the world, one wrist rest at a time.
