The DAC module designed for the xDuoo XD05 Pro with ROHM’s BD34301EKV chip is an alternative, separately sold module for the company’s portable DAC/AMP. It allows replacing the standard ES9039PRO card with one featuring ROHM’s flagship chip, thus changing the sound signature of the XD05 Pro.
The alternative BD34301 card is optimized for a more midrange-focused sound. It excels at reproducing both male and female vocals, delivering them with vividness and emotion. ROHM’s DAC chip also ensures impactful yet well-controlled bass, excellent depth, and smooth but detailed treble.
