Faye’s Story

Find your way home

Play as Laufey (Faye) – a warrior, Kratos’s wife, and Atreus’s mother. A powerful and relentless heroine, Faye used her legendary combat skills to defeat even the mightiest of the Aesir.
Now, in the gods’ afterlife, she will test her strength against opponents from mythologies she could never have imagined, even across the nine realms.

Journey through the gods’ afterlife

A vast world to discover

Journey through the gods’ afterlife – the Omniverse. At the source and end of all magic, gods from different mythologies battle for power in a realm filled with strange, unexpected wonders and indescribable dangers. Faye must uncover the Omniverse’s secrets to stand any chance of finding her way home.

Relentless, dynamic combat

Harness the power of giants

Shortly after arriving in the Omniverse, Faye, no stranger to legendary weaponry, acquires a powerful new sword. With extraordinary skill, she unleashes strike after strike, showering her enemies with an unrelenting barrage of blows.

Attack Faye’s opponents with Jötun magic – powerful enough to tear the soul from the body. Strike directly at their essence to deal massive damage, or use creative combos to dominate the battlefield.

Combining the strengths of the brutal combat system from the newer God of War games with the classic mobility of the Greek saga, Laufey’s combat brings a breath of fresh air to the series while still feeling familiar to its fans.

Triumph with companions

A legendary trio

Two powerful companions join Faye on her journey: Rue and Phranque.

Rue is an enchanted ribbon that guards Faye’s sword. The duty of ensuring the blade’s immense power does not fall into the wrong hands makes Rue both exceptionally protective and distrustful.

Phranque is a determined cosmic cube, deeply connected to the Omniverse. As conflicts ravage the gods’ afterlife, Phranque is determined to protect its home and the countless creatures that live within it at all costs.
