Precise Hall Effect analog sticks

No more stick drift issues. The Defender Pro controller uses contactless Hall Effect sensors (Hall Effect Analog Sticks), ensuring exceptional accuracy, high precision, and unmatched durability. In addition, special Anti-Friction Rings have been placed around the analog sticks to reduce friction and ensure smooth stick movement in every direction.

Versatile compatibility and Dual Mode connectivity

Retro Fighters Defender Pro has been designed to work with multiple generations of devices. It offers dual wireless modes – a stable 2.4 GHz connection (thanks to the included USB and Retro PS1/PS2 receivers) and a Bluetooth module with a range of over 9 meters (30+ Ft.). This allows seamless gaming on PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PS Classic, Nintendo Switch consoles (and compatibility with Switch 2), as well as PC computers, Steam Deck devices, and MiSTer FPGA platforms.

1000 Hz polling rate and switchable triggers

Play without noticeable lag thanks to a high 1000 Hz sampling rate (Polling Rate). The controller is equipped with upgraded, more sensitive L2/R2 triggers and a unique Trigger Locks switch that allows you to instantly change trigger travel and operation between analog and digital modes, adapting them for racing games or fast-paced shooters.

Programmable buttons and advanced controls

Gain an advantage in-game with two programmable buttons located on the back of the housing (Back Grip Buttons), to which you can assign your own commands. Defender Pro remains fully faithful to classic controls thanks to pressure-sensitive action buttons (Pressure Sensitive Buttons) and a refined, enhanced D-pad (Enhanced Dpad). The device also offers SixAxis Motion Control gyroscopic motion controls (in Bluetooth / PS3 / Switch mode) and fully adjustable vibration (Immersive Vibration).
