The Peak Design Standard Plate V3 quick-release plate is a universal tripod plate included with the Capture clip, Travel Tripod and Clutch strap – purchasing additional plates for extra camera bodies allows convenient and fast use of multiple cameras within a single ecosystem. The accessory features a durable CNC-machined aluminum construction with a black anodized finish, topped with an injection-molded PVC pad. The quick-release plate is compatible with all Peak Design straps and tripods, as well as most ARCA-type tripods; however, with mounting clips it works exclusively with the Capture v3 version, offering insertion in up to 4 directions. The new version has a 50% lower profile, while the upgraded mounting screw slot provides significantly broader equipment positioning options, preventing the plate from colliding with lenses, articulating screens or battery compartment doors. Additionally, 4 dedicated loops are positioned at the corners of the construction for securely attaching unique Peak Design Anchors.
