METRO 2039 - METRO 2039 Deluxe Edition - Game for Xbox Series X
METRO 2039
Venture into the dark heart of post-apocalyptic Moscow to fight a dramatic battle for the very soul of the Metro.
Return to the dark heart of the Metro
METRO 2039 is the long-awaited sequel to METRO Exodus. A quarter of a century after the nuclear war, the survivors living beneath contaminated Moscow are united by Hunter, a fanatical member of the Spartan Order. His New Reich regime rules through propaganda and fear, preparing its inhabitants for another war over the surface.
The journey of a lone Stranger
In the wilderness beyond the city lives a lone Stranger plagued by brutal waking nightmares. When the past forces him to leave his hideout, the hero sets out across ruined Moscow for the place he swore never to return to – the Metro.
A brutal single-player campaign
Traverse deadly swamps, irradiated ruins and claustrophobic tunnels. The campaign combines exploration, survival, combat and stealth in a layered story co-created with Dmitry Glukhovsky.
Combat, survival and exploration
Face New Reich soldiers and terrifying mutants using open combat or stealth. Confront radiation, craft essential resources, repair deteriorating equipment and recharge electronics. A UV tool and the ability to cut through and blow up obstacles allow you to discover hidden locations and additional stories.
Equipment progression and 4A Engine technology
Use the new Shatun rifle, find blueprints and modify handcrafted weapons. Upgrade your suit, mask, backpack and other equipment, tailoring them to your own playstyle. The advanced 4A Engine uses ray tracing and realistic visuals to deliver refined visual performance.
Deluxe Edition with additional content
METRO 2039 Deluxe Edition includes the base game, an exclusive SteelBook, a hardcover art book and a future story DLC expansion. The edition also includes a digital art book and digital soundtrack. Pre-orders additionally receive the Specialist Pack with three blueprints that unlock interchangeable backpack upgrades earlier.
