METRO 2039 - METRO 2039 Day One Edition - Game for Xbox Series X

METRO 2039

Venture into the dark heart of post-apocalyptic Moscow to wage a dramatic battle for the very soul of the Metro.

Return to the dark heart of the Metro

METRO 2039 is the long-awaited sequel to METRO Exodus. A quarter of a century after the nuclear war, survivors living beneath contaminated Moscow are united by Hunter, a fanatical member of the Spartan Order. His New Reich regime rules through propaganda and fear, preparing its inhabitants for another war for the surface.

The journey of a lone Stranger

In the wilderness beyond the city lives a lone Stranger tormented by brutal waking nightmares. When the past forces him to leave his hideout, the hero sets out across ruined Moscow for the place he swore never to return to – the Metro.

A brutal single-player campaign

Traverse deadly swamps, irradiated ruins and claustrophobic tunnels. The campaign combines exploration, survival, combat and stealth in a layered story co-created with Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Combat, survival and exploration

Face New Reich soldiers and terrifying mutants, using open combat or stealth. Confront radiation, craft essential resources, repair worn equipment and charge electronics. A UV tool and the ability to cut through and blast obstacles allow you to discover hidden locations and additional stories.

Equipment progression and 4A Engine technology

Use the new Shatun rifle, find blueprints and modify handcrafted weapons. Upgrade your suit, mask, backpack and other equipment as well, adapting them to your own playstyle. The advanced 4A Engine uses ray tracing and realistic visuals to deliver refined visual performance.

Premier Edition with Specialist Pack

METRO 2039 Day One Edition includes the base game and the pre-release Specialist Pack. The bonus includes three blueprints that unlock interchangeable backpack upgrades early: the Specialist Equipment Bag, Specialist Chemical Bag and Specialist Ammo Pouch.
