Traverse deadly swamps, irradiated ruins and claustrophobic tunnels. The campaign combines exploration, survival, combat and stealth in a layered story co-created with Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Combat, survival and exploration

Face New Reich soldiers and terrifying mutants using open combat or stealth. Endure radiation, craft essential supplies, repair deteriorating equipment and recharge electronics. A UV tool and the ability to cut through and blow up obstacles allow you to discover hidden locations and additional stories.

Equipment progression and 4A Engine technology

Use the new Shatun rifle, find blueprints and modify handmade weapons. Upgrade your suit, mask, backpack and other equipment as well, adapting them to your own playstyle. The advanced 4A Engine uses ray tracing and realistic visuals to deliver refined visual performance.
