Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel’s Wolverine will be released for PlayStation®5 consoles in fall 2026.

Marvel’s Wolverine is a game built on the elements for which Insomniac Games is best known: fast, fluid, and fierce combat, thrilling action-movie set pieces, robust accessibility features, and an engaging story that draws on the most important aspects of one of the most fascinating comic book heroes of all time. The game portrays heroism in Logan’s signature style—far darker and more brutal than in other Insomniac games.

Famous characters

Although Wolverine values his independence, he will often encounter familiar faces during his journey, such as the elusive Mystique and the boorish Omega Red. Some characters will help Logan overcome adversity, while others, such as the Reavers—an enemy faction that will put our hero’s instincts to the test—will attack him without hesitation.

An exciting story across different corners of the world

In this original story, Wolverine seeks to uncover the secrets of his dark past. To find answers to the questions that haunt him, he will embark on a dangerous journey to exotic locations such as the island nation of Madripoor, the frozen Canadian wilderness, and Tokyo with its narrow streets, fighting fierce, bloody battles and leaving destruction in his wake in each of them.
