Program with QMK and Launcher

Open-source QMK firmware means unlimited possibilities for key mapping, macros, shortcuts, and more. Now, you can easily customize every key using the Keychron Launcher web application.

Last Key Priority (LKP)

LKP enables seamless direction changes by prioritizing the most recently pressed key, ensuring smoother gameplay in titles like Valorant. This helps reduce input latency, providing a competitive edge by allowing you to change directions faster without waiting for previous keys to be fully released.

Suitable for all devices

Offers a Mac layout while remaining fully compatible with Windows. It stands out in the market by providing the same multimedia and function keys as Apple keyboards for Mac users, but with improved, crisper tactile feedback.

Additionally, you can configure different key mappings for both Mac and Windows devices. The Keychron Launcher web app is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. The keyboard includes keycaps for both macOS and Windows, as well as additional esc and enter keys, making it easy to switch between operating systems.

Built-in receiver storage

For an enhanced 2.4 GHz wireless experience, the J1 comes with a Type-A receiver. Enjoy fast plug-and-play connectivity, or store it in the dedicated compartment in the top-right corner of the keyboard.

The powerful WB32F3G71RCT6 MCU based on the ARM architecture, featuring 256KB of Flash memory, provides developers with greater flexibility. The polling rate is 1000 Hz in 2.4 GHz and wired modes right out of the box, making latency practically imperceptible even in competitive gaming.

Advanced acoustic foam

Elevate your typing experience with the J1, featuring advanced IXPE acoustic foam for smooth keypresses and greater comfort, combined with resilient latex foam for excellent switch support, responsiveness, and durability. A new standard for quiet, comfortable, and responsive typing.

We all have unique typing preferences, so we offer a hot-swappable option for the J1, allowing you to easily replace every low-profile mechanical switch in seconds to tailor your typing feel without the need for soldering.

*The J1 is currently compatible only with Gateron/Keychron low-profile mechanical switches, as QMK does NOT support low-profile optical switches.

With 1.3 mm of pre-travel - about 35% faster than standard switches - it provides a smooth, precise keystroke and withstands up to 50 million keystrokes. Low-Profile Double-Shot PBT Keycaps

Designed for a premium typing feel, the J1 comes with our unique low-profile, double-shot PBT keycaps, made from both shine-through and non-shine-through PBT material, with excellent oil resistance for long-term use.

North-facing RGB backlight

Equipped with over 22 types of RGB backlight settings (as well as a static white backlight option). You can also easily further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speed.
