Plant carePak Choi is a heat sensitive plant that germinates faster and produces more growth if grown at 64 to 72 °F (18 to 22°C). Temperatures higher than 75°F (24°C) can inhibit germination.
There is no limit to the number of seedlings per pod for pak choi. Just let them thrive!
Pak choi starts off slow, but once it's germinated it will speed up.
You can start harvesting the plant about 4 weeks after planting by picking off the outer leaves- the plant will produce more from its basal growing point.
Once your pak choi has been growing for about 5 to 6 weeks, we recommend harvesting the whole thing.
