Plant care | There is no limit to the number of seedlings per pod for lavender if you grow it just for the leaves and stems. If you want to see guaranteed flowers, we recommended decreasing the number of seedlings to five. Lavender starts off slow, but once it gets started, growth will speed up. In approximately 1 month your lavender should be ready for a leaf harvest. Gently trim and leave at least two pairs of true leaves to grow. If you want your lavender to bloom, do not cut it. You can cut your flowering lavender back to half its current size and new green growth will appear soon! Cutting it is the key to having a constant supply of lavender leaves! Lavender is great for drying and can be saved for later! |
