Activision - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Standard Edition for PlayStation 5

War Without Limits

War erupts on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea launches a full-scale invasion that threatens to destabilize the world. A young unit of South Korean soldiers fights for survival on a collapsing front line. On the other side of the world, Captain Price wages a personal war from the shadows, staying one step ahead of the enemies pursuing him.

Campaign on Multiple Fronts

In the campaign, players find themselves in the trenches on the Korean front, take part in close-quarters combat in New York, chases through Paris, SAS night raids in Mumbai, and assaults on occupied cities. One of the playable characters is Private Park—a young South Korean soldier who, together with his unit, takes part in real combat for the first time.

12 New 6v6 Maps

Multiplayer is built around precise combat, fluid movement, and greater operator control. At launch, 12 new maps for 6v6 matches set in diverse locations around the world will be available. Larger maps will combine infantry engagements with vehicle use.

DMZ Extraction Mode

In DMZ, players operate behind enemy lines as unofficial operators tasked with recovering advanced military technology. The conflict zone can be entered alone or with a squad. Each operation requires choosing objectives, securing loot, and deciding on the right time to evacuate.

Ballistic Control System

Technology focused on weapon handling combines precise aiming, physical weapon control, bullet trajectory, operator stance, camera work, sound propagation, field of view, and target visibility. These elements form a cohesive system responsible for combat handling.

PlayStation 5 Features

The PlayStation 5 version supports DualSense controller vibration and adaptive trigger effects, the Remote Play feature, and PS5 Pro enhancements. Online gameplay supports up to 60 players and requires an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

Pre-order Bonus in the Box

A copy included in the pre-order promotion comes with a coupon for the Hunter-Killer operator skin and the Gilded Pearl camouflage pack, containing two weapon camouflages. The content will be available in Modern Warfare 4 on launch day. The code must be redeemed by 23 October 2027 at the latest.
