8BitDo - Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard Gears of War: E-Day

Built for Battle

Cracked ground, crimson energy, and COG markings bring the atmosphere of the battlefield to the case and keys. Every design element was created as a reference to the events of E-Day, while the official Xbox and Gears of War license emphasizes the authentic character of this edition.

A Tribute to Gears of War: E-Day

This special edition draws inspiration from the war-torn world of Gears of War and the visual language of Emergence Day. The red-and-black color scheme and Emergence motifs evoke the chaos caused by the appearance of the Locust and the beginning of the fight for survival.

Control Panel and Linear switches

The independent control panel lets you manage the connection, adjust the volume, and assign button functions. Linear 8BitDo Cloud Gray switches, developed together with HUANO, provide smooth and stable operation, while the hot-swap PCB allows compatible switches to be replaced without soldering.

Top Mount Design and the Gears of War Arsenal

The multi-layer top mount design uses dampening elements that reduce hollow reverberation while typing and gaming. The themed number keys feature iconic pieces of equipment: the Lancer rifle, Gnasher shotgun, Boltok pistol, and fragmentation grenade.

Game Bar, Dual Super Buttons, and RGB

The dedicated Game Bar button provides quick access to Windows Game Bar functions. The included Dual Super Buttons can be assigned to selected functions and macros without launching additional software. The keyboard supports up to four sets of these buttons and offers eight RGB lighting modes.

Customization in Ultimate Software V2

8BitDo Ultimate Software V2 for PC allows you to change key assignments and create macros. This makes it possible to adapt the keyboard’s operation to different games, applications, and individual user preferences.
