LIGHT THERAPY DEVICES
List of safety warnings for LIGHT THERAPY DEVICES based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR):
1. Light therapy devices should be used solely as intended, i.e., for non-invasive skin care or body regeneration using LEDs.
2. Before starting regular use, it is recommended to perform a sensitivity test on a small area of skin to rule out allergic reactions or light sensitivity.
3. During sessions involving the face area, strictly avoid looking directly into the LED light source and, if required by the manufacturer, wear the included protective goggles.
4. Persons with electronic implants (e.g., pacemakers), pregnant women, individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, or those taking photosensitizing medications should consult a doctor before using the device.
5. Protect the device from contact with water, moisture, and liquids, as it is not waterproof, and contact with liquid may lead to electric shock or damage to the electronics.
6. Use only original cables and power adapters supplied by the manufacturer to ensure stable operating parameters and prevent overheating of the device.
7. Do not exceed the session duration recommended by the manufacturer (usually 5 to 30 minutes) or the suggested weekly treatment frequency.
8. Use only a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the device surface and treatment heads; using alcohol and strong detergents that could damage protective coatings is prohibited.
9. Store the device and charging accessories in a dry place, away from fire sources, and out of reach of small children.
10. If visible damage to the housing, cracks, exposed wires, or abnormal heating of the product is noticed, immediately discontinue use.
11. The product is subject to regulations on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE); due to built-in batteries or electronic components, it must not be disposed of in regular household waste bins.
Following the above rules reduces the risk of injury, equipment breakdown, and property damage. Ignoring them may lead to serious health and technical problems.Detailed information and additional warnings can be found in the user manual included with the product or in PDF format on the manufacturer/supplier website.
